Yes, you can! LIZ is designed to support all types of beverages, except milk. However, please note that acidic and/or carbonated beverages can damage stainless steel over time. We recommend not to have those on a regular basis. If you do, please try not to keep them inside the bottle for too long and rinse/clean the bottle quickly after use.

When the power is ON, tap the lid once to check the temperature range. - If the beverage temperature is above 60°C/140°F the light will be red. - When the beverage temperature is between 36.5 and 60°C / 98°F to 140°F the light will be yellow. - The light will be blue when the beverage temperature is below 36.5°C/98°F. Note: When the beverage temperature is above 60°C/140°F, the hydration reminder is automatically turned OFF.

Every 2 hours, the smart lid's light will flash the color of the corresponding temperature (blue or yellow) to remind you to hydrate. The 2 hour-timer resets when you stop interacting with the lid, meaning opening or tapping it for UV-sterilization or temperature check. Note: When the beverage temperature is above 60°C/140°F, the hydration reminder is automatically turned OFF.

LIZ's double walled, vacuum insulation keeps beverages cold for up to 24 hours and hot for up to 12 hours.

It’s easy, please make sure not to fill above the inner ring. The volume capacity has been calculated up to this limit: 350ml (12oz) for the smaller bottle and 480ml (16oz) for the bigger one.

UV-sterilization is the process of destroying harmful bacteria and potential viruses that can amass in bottles and become harmful to your health. LIZ uses a 278 nanometer UV-C light which breaks down the DNA of such bacteria and viruses, rendering them harmless. Notes: - The sterilization system is not compatible with dark colored liquids since the UV-C light cannot penetrate dark beverages, thus we only recommend sterilizing water. - If the water temperature is over 60°C/140°F the UV function will not work. The lid's indicator light will flash red to indicate the temperature is too high for sterilization.

UV-sterilization works for water (and sterilizes the bottle itself if no liquids are inside). The sterilization system is not compatible with dark colored and cloudy liquids since the UV-C light cannot penetrate these types of beverages, thus we only recommend sterilizing clear water.

UV-sterilization works for water (and also sterilizes the bottle itself if no liquids are inside). You should always make sure the source of water is safe before consumption. For instance, the lake or stream water could be sterilized, but it doesn't mean the water would be drinkable. The UV-sterilization kills viruses & bacteria, but doesn't remove any other potential substances inside the water like a filtration system does (such as heavy metals or fluoride).

No, it does not as it's not equipped with a filter. However, LIZ does destroy 99.9% of harmful bacteria and viruses via UV-C light sterilization.

Water sterilization kills viruses & bacteria whereas filtering water removes other substances such as heavy metals or fluoride.

LIZ completes the UV sterilization process in less than five minutes.

It can happen that the UV Sterilization function is turned off for safety reasons. 

If your LIZ flashes red 4 times when you double-tap the lid, please take off the lid and put it aside for 10 minutes. After doing so, put the lid back on and try again.

You can use the UV sterilization function before using your LIZ, to make sure it's fresh and ready for you. Please note that the sterilization process does not extend to the bottle's rim nor the outer surface of the bottle, so you should clean these parts before use. 

As for the bottle, if you only use it for water, rinsing it should be enough.

However, if you use it with other beverages (tainted or sweetened ones for instance), you will need to clean the bottle to remove the stains and deposits.

The bottle is dishwasher safe. You can also handwash it and use a bottle cleaning brush to reach the bottom of the bottle.However, the smart lid should not be submerged in water. The insertable part of the lid can be handwashed gently with water and non-abrasive soap. Meanwhile, we recommend cleaning the external part of the lid by wiping it clean with a damp cloth to avoid damaging the battery port.
Our LIZ smart bottle is splash resistant which means that water splashing (such as rain) shall have no harmful effect. However you should avoid submerging it. 

Yes, they are listed in the safety statement in the packaging (usage, UV-sterilization, care, battery, temperature, repairing, choking hazard, etc).

The Low Battery Reminder will inform you when the bottle needs to be charged. 

When the battery power is below 5%, every time you touch the lid, a red light will flash rapidly. This indicates the battery is low and all functions will be turned OFF until charged. The smart functions will be resumed after charging.

LIZ bottles are rechargable and come with a magnetic USB cable. Insert the charging cable dock into the lid's charging port to charge the bottle. A red light will flash slowly during charging. When fully charged, the light will turn white.


Notes: 

- The charging cable is not waterproof. Please do not use the charger near liquid, such as (and not limited to) in a bathtub, basin, sink, laundry tub, or swimming pool.

- UV sterilization cannot be turned on during charging.

LIZ has a rechargeable lithium battery that can last for an average of 1 month with one UV sterilization per day. It might be more or less depending on individual usage.

No, all the smart functions will be disabled while LIZ is charging.

You don't have to. However, we recommend to charge the lid while it's screwed onto the bottle.

The reason you are experiencing this is that the UV-sterilization function was turned off for safety reasons. This could be one of two reasons.


1. Your bottle was overfilled. If so, you can simply pour out some liquid so it is below the maximum capacity, and shake off any excess water on the inner part of the lid.

We recommend allowing the lid to dry off before using the UV-sterilization again. (This may also happen soon after hand washing the lid. If so, the same solution applies).


2. Your smart lid was out of battery and requires a simple calibration. Don't worry! You won't need to do this after every charge!


To re-calibrate, please open the lid and set it aside for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, you can close the lid onto the bottle and the UV-sterilization will work normally again.

This is the Low Battery Reminder, informing you that the bottle needs to be charged. 

LIZ will flash red 8 times when the battery power is below 5%.

Please note that  all functions will be turned OFF until  the battery is charged again. The smart functions will be resumed after charging.

Yes. After setting your hybrid watch for the first time, you just need to wear the watch to track your sleep & activity. Alarms, notifications and other features can easily be controlled from within the App. To check your activity, simply open the NOERDEN App on your smartphone, turn on your Bluetooth, and the watch will connect and sync within a few seconds.

The button is used to: - Turn on or off the watch. - Turn on or turn off the Bluetooth wireless connectivity of the watch. - Check the connection status of your watch. - Trigger the camera of your phone for the Camera Remote Control - Reject an incoming call. - Make a factory reset.

1. If you press the watch button once: - If the watch indicator flashes continuously for a few seconds, it means that your watch is connected to your smartphone. - 6 or 7 fast flashes means that your watch's Bluetooth wireless connectivity is turned on, but it's not connected to your smartphone. - 5 fast flashes means that your watch's battery is low (for LIFE2, MATE2) - If the indicator light does not flash, it means that your watch's Bluetooth wireless connectivity is turned off. With this status, the hands of the watch work and the watch will display the time. - If the indicator light flashes 4 times, it means that your watch is off. With this status, the hands of the watch do not move, so the watch will not display the time. 2. If you press and hold the watch button for 3 or 4 seconds: - For LIFE2/LIFE2+/MATE2/MATE2+/MATE2/MATE2+: > If the indicator light flashes red 2 times quickly. This indicates that your watch is on and Bluetooth wireless connectivity is enabled. 3. If you press the watch button while holding it down for about 6 seconds (for LIFE2/LIFE2+/MATE2/MATE2+ watch models only): - If the watch indicator flashes red 1 time, it means that you have turned off your watch and are doing a factory reset. With this status, the hands of the watch do not move, so the watch will not display the time.

To check if your watch is connected to your phone, press the watch button once. If your watch is connected to your phone, it will light up green for a few seconds. If the watch is not connected, it will flash red several times quickly. Please press the watch button again: - If the indicator light flashes once for a long time, it means that your watch is connected to your smartphone. - If the indicator light flashes 6 or 7 times quickly, it means that the Bluetooth wireless connectivity of your watch is activated, but the watch is not connected to your smartphone. - If the indicator light does not flash, it means that your watch's Bluetooth wireless connectivity is turned off and your watch is not connected to your smartphone. You can also check your watch's connection using the NOERDEN App. If your watch is not connected, a "reconnect" button will show on the Device page. To reconnect it, click on the "Reconnect" button and press the button of your watch once. Your watch is now connected again.

To unpair your watch from your iPhone: 1. Go to your smartphone's settings. 2. Click on "Bluetooth". 3. Click on the "i" icon on the right of the NOERDEN watch name in your phone's Bluetooth settings. 4. Click on "forget this device". Your NOERDEN watch is no longer paired with your iPhone.

To unpair your watch from your smartphone: 1. Go to the settings of your smartphone. 2. Click on "Bluetooth". 3. Click on the "i" icon on the right of the NOERDEN watch name in your phone's Bluetooth settings. 4. Click on "forget this device". Your NOERDEN watch is no longer paired with your Smartphone.

You may want to do a factory reset: Say for instance, if you give the watch to another person or if you are experiencing some technical sync issues. Then you may want to erase the watch's data with a factory reset. The factory reset allows you to erase all data that has been recorded on the watch. If you do not remove your watch from your App, after a factory reset your watch can be connected to your App again without having to perform a new installation. How to perform a factory reset: - Make sure your watch is on. > For LIFE2/LIFE2+/MATE2/MATE2+/MATE2/MATE2+watch models: - Hold down the watch button for 6 seconds, the indicator light on the front of your watch will blink red 1 time. This indicates that your watch is off. - To restart your watch, press and hold the watch button for 3 seconds. The indicator light on the front of your watch will flash red 2 times quickly. This indicates that your watch is on and Bluetooth wireless connectivity is enabled. The factory reset is complete and the data stored in your watch has been erased.

Push the other side of the quick release spring bar into the opposite lug end. 4. Release the spring bar, your new strap is successfully installed. Nato Straps 1. Insert the springs bars into the lug ends on both sides of the watch frame. 2.Insert the longer end of the strap in between the spring bar and the watch frame. 3.Pull the long side of the strap through the other spring bar. Insert the quick release pin into the first spring bar. 2. Insert one end of the spring bar into the right lug of the watch. 3.Press the pin and release to secure into the left lug. Spring Bar B 1.Insert the quick release pin into the second spring bar. 2.Insert one end of the spring bar into the right lug of the watch. 3.Press the pin and release to secure into the left lug. 4.Insert the end of bracelet A under spring bar B, and pull to adjust to wrist size.

We give a lot of importance to the quality of the materials used in our watches. However, prolonged contact may contribute to skin irritations or allergies in some users. If you notice any signs of skin redness, swelling, itchiness, or other skin irritations, please discontinue wearing the device. Continued use, even after symptoms subside, may result in renewed or increased irritation. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.

Your NOERDEN watch can record and store up to a month of data.

To decrease or save the battery consumption of your watch, you can temporarily disable Bluetooth. To do so, please follow these steps: 1. Open the NOERDEN App and go to the "Device" page. 2. Click on your watch model, then "Power saving mode". 3. Click on "Yes" to confirm. The watch has a data storage capacity of up to 30 days. Thus, you will not lose your data for up to a month while Bluetooth is disabled. To turn Bluetooth back on and synchonize your watch's data with the App, please follow these steps: 1. Open the NOERDEN App and go to the "Device" page. 2. Click on "Reconnect" on your watch model. 3. Press your watch button once. Your watch is now connected again.

In order to avoid water damage, we recommend that you let a professional replace the battery, as the operation requires professional equipment and technique.

All our watches are packaged in OFF mode and therefore need to be turned ON when you use them for the first time. To turn your watch on, press the watch button: > for 3 seconds if you have a LIFE, LIFE+, MATE or MATE+ watch. > for 1 second if you have a LIFE2, LIFE2+ or MATE2/MATE2+, watch. A flashing light will indicate that the watch is on.

1. Make sure that your phone's Bluetooth is on and bring your watch close to your smartphone. 2. Open the NOERDEN App and click on the button "Devices" in the middle of your screen. 3. Click on the "+" icon at the top right. 4. Select the model of the watch you want to add. 5. Turn on your watch by holding down the button > for 3 seconds if you have a LIFE, LIFE+, MATE or MATE+ watch. > for 1 second if you have a LIFE2, LIFE2+, MATE2 or MATE2+ watch. A flashing light and a vibration will indicate that the watch is on. 6. The watch appears in the list of nearby devices, click on the model of your watch. 7. The indicator light flashes red and green. 8. If the "Pair" command on your phone appears, click on "PAIR". 9. Pick your watch's color and click "NEXT". 10. Name your watch and click "Save". Your watch is now connected and ready to use. To set up the time, please refer to the question "How to set or calibrate your watch's time?".

1. Open the NOERDEN App. 2. Click on the button "Devices" in the middle of your screen. 3. Click on "Smart Time Calibration" and follow the instructions. 4. Click on "OK". Your watch will calibrate to the correct time based on your phone. IMPORTANT Please make sure to enter the time displayed by the hands of your watch and not the actual time.

Adjust to your desired goal(s) and click on "Save". Note: You can also edit your goals directly on the homepage by long pressing one of the categories.

Every time you open the NOERDEN App, your watch will connect automatically with the App via Bluetooth. The data synchronization process will then begin. After a few seconds your data will be fully synchronized. For LIFE/LIFE+/MATE/MATE+/CITY watch models: You can synchronize your data manually by sliding your finger down at the top of any App page and releasing it when the "Release to Refresh" command appears. If synchronization does not occur immediately, there may be insufficient data to transfer or your phone may need more time to sync. Wait a few seconds and try again.

1. Open the NOERDEN App. 2. Click on the button "Devices" in the middle of your screen. 3. Click on "..." next to your watch. 4. Click on "Power saving mode" to disconnect the Bluetooth connectivity of your device (sleep mode). To turn the Bluetooth on again, press your watch's button once.

No. Your watch can only be associated with one account at a time.

The NOERDEN App displays data from the device currently connected to the App. If no device is connected to the App, it will display the data provided by the device that was last connected. To see which device is currently connected to the NOERDEN App: 1. Open the NOERDEN App. 2. On the "Device" page, you can see which device is connected to the Application.

Before giving your watch to another user, you must first follow the steps below. 1. Remove the watch from your App: > Open the NOERDEN App. > On the "Device" page, click on "..." next to the image of the watch you wish to remove. > Then press the "Delete" button. 2. If you have an iPhone, you have to 'forget' your watch from your iPhone: - Go to the settings of your device. - Click on "Bluetooth". - Click on the "i" button to the right of the model of your watch (NOERDEN-XX). - Click on "forget this device". Your watch is out of your iPhone. 3. Make a factory reset to erase your personal data stored in your watch: 3.1 Make sure your watch is on. > For LIFE2/LIFE2+/MATE2/MATE2+ watch models: - Hold down the watch button for 6 seconds, the indicator light on the front of your watch will blink red 1 time. This indicates that your watch is off. - To restart your watch, press and hold the watch button for 3 seconds. The indicator light on the front of your watch will flash red 2 times quickly. This indicates that your watch is on and Bluetooth wireless connectivity is enabled. > For LIFE/LIFE+/MATE/MATE+/CITY watch models: - Hold down the watch button for 8 seconds, the indicator light on the front of your watch will blink slowly 7 times. This indicates that your watch is off. 3.2 To restart your watch, press and hold the watch button for 3 seconds. The indicator light on the front of your watch will flash 6 times quickly. This indicates that your watch is on and Bluetooth wireless connectivity is enabled. 3.3 The factory reset is complete and the data stored in your watch has been erased.

Thanks to the automatic synchronization of the time, if you travel and change your time zone, your watch will be set automatically. When your smartphone changes timezone, a command appears in the NOERDEN App telling you that you have changed your time zone. Click "OK" and your watch will automatically go to time. Notes: > Make sure the time of your smartphone is well synchronized with the new time zone. > Make sure your watch is well connected to your NOERDEN App. If your watch is not at the desired time please refer to the question "How to set or calibrate your watch's time?".

1. Open the NOERDEN App. 2. On the homepage, click on the camera icon at the top right of the page. If your phone asks to access the camera and photo album, please confirm. 3. To take a picture, press the watch button or shake the watch. Pictures taken with your watch appear in your phone's photo album.

Choose an alarm time. > If you want to repeat this alarm, click on "Repeat" and select the desired days, then press "Save". Notes: > Your watch must be connected via Bluetooth to set up this function. > During the selected alarm time, your watch will vibrate for 8 seconds. > To stop the alarm, press the button once. The indicator light will flash once in red and your watch will vibrate once.

1. Open the NOERDEN App. 2. Go to the "Device" page and click on "Smart Notifications". 3. Click on "Do not disturb" to enable or disable the function. 4. Enter the start time and the end time. Notes: > Your watch must be connected via Bluetooth to enable this function. > In "Do not disturb" mode, all calls and notifications will be silent (except alarms).

**To use this function, your watch must be connected to your phone via Bluetooth, meaning within a 9 meter radius.** Press the watch button twice consecutively so your phone rings. Notes: > If your phone is on silent mode, it will vibrate. > For your phone to vibrate on silent mode, you need to enable "Vibrate on Silent" mode in your phone settings. > You will also receive a notification on your phone.

**Your watch must be connected via Bluetooth for this function and you must grant the NOERDEN App access to your music applications.** 1. Open the NOERDEN App. 2. Go to the "Device" page and click on "Music Control" to enable or disable the function. 3. You can control the music by tapping the glass screen of your watch. > Tap the glass screen twice to skip to the next song. > Tap the glass screen three times to replay a song. IMPORTANT This function is suitable with most smartphone models and music applications. However, some phone and application systems override the default settings so the result may vary

1. Open the NOERDEN App. 2. On the homepage, go to the Training section and select an activity: Run / Cycle 3. Press the start icon when you're ready and the end button when you're done. 4. Click on "Save" to record your activity. Notes: > If you are using this feature for the first time, please allow the App to access your location. > You will be able to consult the details of your activity at the end of your training, as well as the route covered. > You can browse your training history, by clicking on "..." at the top right of the "Training" section.

Solution 1 All NOERDEN watches are packaged in off mode. So when you use your NOERDEN watch for the first time and remove it from the packaging it will need to be turned on. To turn it on, press and hold the watch button for 3 or 4 seconds until the indicator light on the front of the watch flashes 6 or 7 times quickly. Solution 2 Your watch battery may be low. In this case, it is recommended that you refer to a professional to change the battery. Note: The battery lasts an average of up to 6 months, but this may change in some cases as all batteries have a shelf life. Solution 3 Press the button of your watch once, look at the face of the watch and check the indicator light at the NOERDEN logo on the front of the watch (at 12 o'clock). - If the indicator flashes 6 or 7 times fast, it means that your watch is working but it is not connected to your smartphone. - If the indicator flashes once a long time, it means that your watch is working and is connected to your smartphone. - If the indicator flashes 4 times slowly, it means that your watch is entering factory reset mode. Press and hold the watch button again for about 3 seconds until it flashes. Your watch is working. - If the indicator light is not flashing, press and hold the watch button until the indicator flashes. - If the indicator flashes 6 or 7 times fast, it means that your watch is working but it is not connected to your smartphone. - If the indicator light is flashing slowly, it means that your watch is entering factory reset mode. Press and hold the watch button again for about 3 seconds until it flashes.

Make sure your watch's Bluetooth connectivity is turned on. > Open the NOERDEN App and go to the "Device" page. > Click on "Reconnect" on your watch model. > Press the button of your watch once. > Your watch is now connected again. Position the watch near your smartphone. 5. Try again. Solution 4 Your watch battery may be low. In this case, it is recommended that you refer to a professional to change the battery.
